The Pixa Boost is used to "clean up" or "regenerate" or "boost" the data from the controller or last pixel to allow a much longer stretch of wire to be used before reaching the next pixel. Each Pixa Boost has a male input connector and a female output connector. The Pixa Boost can be used with 5v-24v three-wire pixels. Each Pixa Boost is encased in epoxy in a square node shell. Other names and similar products are F-Amp, Null Pixel Buffer, and uAmp.

These boosters work great and support up to 24v pixels unlike the standard falcon ones that only go up to 12v. I wish I had just bought a bunch of these to start!
