What size is the center hole. I need to slide it over 1-1/4\" black pipe. For my christmaslightshow.com 20\' mega tree. –
Our YETI 48 works great on a 1.25\\\" galvanized pipe. The mounting crosshairs can support .5\\\"-2.5\\\" pipe. We use a 1.5\\\" galvanized outer pipe with a 1\\\" inner for our 20\\\' asap mega tree. The center hole cutout is not important, since the YETI toppers are design to be fixed to the center pole using a threaded floor flange, and any combination of reducers/nipples of galvanized pipe. This works great for ASAP pole designs and static poles. The YETI topper is not designed to \\\"slip\\\" over solid pipe. To answer your question, the center hole is 1\\\" which will accommodate a 3/4\\\" pipe, but then you\\\'d need a pulley system at the top of your pole or a way to fix the topper without spinning. We recommend reducing the pipe size just before the topper since the star support pole above the topper is much easier to mount a star with 3/4\\\" pipe instead of 1.25\\\" pipe, and will save on hardware costs (flanges, nipples) and adds less weight. Hope this helps! Feel free to reach out with any other questions!
